Competition rules Matchplay
1. Applicability
These regulations apply to all competitions and competitions that are played Matchplay format Golf Impact By participating in a match, players agree with these regulations.
2. Game shape
• All matches are played according to the Matchplay format , as described in rule 3 of the rules or golf (R&A/USGA) .
• Each hole is a separate battle; The player who wins a hole is "1 up", etc.
• The match ends as soon as a player is more holes than there are still to play .
3. Rules apply
• The matches are played according to the official rules of Golf (R&A/USGA) , including all updates.
• In addition, the provisions in these regulations and any local rules apply.
• In cases where these regulations do not provide, the Golf Impact race management .
4. Arranging & playing in time
• Both players are responsible for jointly finding a suitable golf course on the specific date and time (as indicated on the website or by e-mail). Take each other's wishes into account, it must remain fun.
• If players do not make an appointment, the game can be regarded as not played or canceled .
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as long -term illness or injury), the race management will decide on any other date.
5. pass on results
• The winner of the match is responsible for passing on the result via the official results form.
• The result must be passed on within 24 hours after playing .
• After the result has been transmitted, the counterparty must properly or reject the result 24 hours of submitting
• If both players do not confirm the result in time, the match will be invalid , unless otherwise determined by the competition management.
6. Conflicts & disagreement about the result
• In the event of disagreement about the result, players must report this within 24 hours .
• The race management will hear both players and make a decision in accordance with rule 20.2 of the rules or golf .
• If the facts cannot be adequately determined, the race management may decide to: note the match as a draw to cancel the result , to make another suitable decision based on reasonableness and fairness.
• Intentionally misleading behavior can lead to exclusion of the competition .
7. Absenteeism or not appear
• If a player does not appear at the agreed time and place without a valid reason, the match is awarded to the opponent.
• In the event of repeated absenteeism, the player can be removed from the competition.
8. Local rules & job conditions
• Players must adhere to the applicable local rules of the golf course on which is being played.
• If in doubt about the application of a local rule, you have to play in consultation and a report must be made to the race management afterwards.
• Bad weather conditions can be a reason for postponing or adjusting the competition, exclusively after consultation with the race management.
9. Fair play & sportiness
• Sportiness is central within Golf Impact. Unsporting behavior, intimidation or cheating is not tolerated .
• A warning or sanction follows when there is unsporting behavior. Repetition can lead to the exclusion of (further) participation.
10. Other provisions
• In the event of technical errors or errors in the schedule, the race management decides based on the situation.
• The race management reserves the right to adjust these regulations in the interim. Changes are communicated to the participants in time.
